Bite sized learning for tourism & events operators of Greater Melbourne from Typsy

VTIC has heard the call for industry endorsed micro-credentials to be made available to Victorian businesses to help address the skills crisis. A new pilot program with Typsy has launched for Greater Melbourne this summer.

Criteria for this Pilot = Active tourism, events and hospitality businesses in Greater Melbourne

Dates : NOW CLOSED – Open now for application until late June 2023

Location: Online – reusable during subscription time frame.

Cost: Free of charge for VTIC members and non members via the generous support of the Victorian Government.

VTIC have partnered with Melbourne business Typsy who have filmed over 1500 online lessons with industry experts. Watch unlimited courses and gain industry-endorsed certificates.

This training is presented by VTIC thanks to generous funding from the Victorian Government until end of this financial year. During this time you and your team can access it at no cost.

Get prepared for the seasonal increase in tourists in the short term and if you’re looking further ahead, use the opportunity to upskill and even start building your team for the Commonwealth Games.

Training is available NOW! Once registered, users can learn on-demand, watching courses in their own time, on their own device. Businesses can apply for this program until lare June. To make the most of the subscription time, sign up now, and have access to the platform until November

3. Once approved Typsy will then contact you with a unique activation link for your business to access the Typsy learning platform and courses.
4. You will enter an email and password to get started on Typsy
5. You can book into an onboarding webinar with Typsy so you can make the most of the platform
6. Invite your team to Typsy to do the training.
